🍎 Warm Baked Apple Fritters
Ingredients
For the fritters:

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

2¼ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1½ tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)

2 large eggs

½ cup milk
-
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1½ cups apples, peeled and finely chopped (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
Optional glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
-
2–3 Tbsp milk or apple cider

½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat & prep

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix dry ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugars, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. Mix wet ingredients

In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
4. Combine

Add wet ingredients to dry and stir just until combined.

Fold in chopped apples.
5. Bake

Drop ¼-cup mounds of batter onto the baking sheet, slightly flattening tops.

Bake 14–16 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
6. Glaze & serve

Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth.

Drizzle over warm fritters and serve immediately.
