Swedish Meatball Noodle Bake
Ingredients

1 lb frozen or homemade Swedish meatballs

12 oz egg noodles

2 tbsp butter
-
2 tbsp flour
-
2 cups beef broth
-
1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
¼ tsp nutmeg
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese

Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Cook noodles
Boil egg noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain. -
Prepare meatballs
Cook meatballs according to package directions (or brown if homemade). -
Make sauce
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in beef broth, then cream.
Stir in Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened. -
Assemble
In a large bowl, combine noodles, meatballs, and sauce. Pour into baking dish. -
Add cheese
Sprinkle cheese evenly on top. -
Bake
Bake 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden. -
Rest & serve
Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley if desired.
