🐟 Savory Garlic Butter Cod
Ingredients

4 cod fillets

Salt & black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp lemon juice

Optional: chopped parsley or dill
Instructions

Pat cod dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Sear the cod for 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden and flakes easily. Remove and set aside.

Lower heat, add butter to the skillet, then stir in garlic. Cook about 30 seconds (don’t let it burn).

Add lemon juice, stir, then return cod to the pan.

Spoon sauce over the fish and cook 1–2 more minutes.

Garnish with parsley or dill and serve immediately.
