Martini Sticks
Makes: about 3 dozen
Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar or Parmesan (or a mix)

1 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped (optional)

½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
Pinch of cayenne (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Coarse salt or flaky sea salt
Instructions

Heat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.

Prep pastry

Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

Brush lightly with egg wash.

Season

Sprinkle cheese evenly over pastry.

Add herbs, garlic powder, pepper, cayenne, and a light pinch of salt.

Gently press toppings in with a rolling pin.

Cut & twist
-
Cut pastry into ½-inch strips.

Twist each strip several times and place on baking sheet.

Bake

Brush lightly with egg wash.

Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.

Cool slightly & serve

Best warm, but still great at room temp.
