Ingredients
- 1 can (800 g / 29 oz) sliced peaches with syrup
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven:
Set oven to 175°C / 350°F. - Melt butter:
Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Put dish in oven until butter melts. - Mix batter (1 bowl):
Whisk flour, sugar, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth. - Assemble (don’t stir!):
- Pour batter over melted butter.
- Spoon peaches and syrup evenly over the batter.
Do not stir.
- Bake:
