Beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Fold in whipped topping gently. -
Assemble
Spread cream mixture evenly over the crust.
Spoon cherry pie filling on top. -
Chill
Refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight is even better).
