Fried Cheese-Stuffed Doritos
Ingredients

Doritos (Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch work best)

Mozzarella or cheddar cheese sticks (cut into bite-size chunks)

½ cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup crushed Doritos (extra crunch layer)

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Method
1. Stuff the Doritos

Gently pry open Doritos (some will break — that’s life).

Sandwich a small piece of cheese between two Doritos, pressing lightly.
2. Bread them
Set up a dredging station:

Dip stuffed Dorito into flour

Then egg
-
Then crushed Doritos
👉 Press gently so the coating sticks.
3. Freeze (important!)

Place coated Doritos on a tray.

Freeze 20–30 minutes
This stops the cheese from exploding in the oil.
4. Fry

Heat oil to 175°C / 350°F.

Fry in batches 30–45 seconds, until golden.

Drain on paper towels.
