1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
½ cup shredded cheddar or Parmesan
-
Cooking spray or oil
Instructions

Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.

-
Lightly grease the crockpot.
-
Add uncooked pasta.
-
Top with cooked meat, pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, and seasonings.
-
Stir gently to combine.
-
-
Add liquid
-
Add 1½–2 cups water or broth (just enough to cover pasta).
-
-
Cook
-
Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours
(or HIGH for 2–3 hours), stirring once halfway.
-
-
Add cheese
-
Sprinkle cheeses on top during the last 20–30 minutes.
-
Cover until melted.
-
Tips
-
Don’t overcook—pasta can get mushy.
-
If it looks dry, add a splash of warm water.
-
Let rest 10 minutes before serving to thicken.
Easy Variations
-
Cheesy Alfredo: use Alfredo sauce instead of red
-
Veggie version: add mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers
-
Pizza pasta: add pepperoni and mozzarella
If you want, I can make this into a dump-and-go version, a vegetarian casserole, or a kid-friendly cheesy pasta bake 😊
