Chocolate-Stuffed Marble Cupcakes
Ingredients
Cupcake Batter

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup milk

¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 Tbsp hot water
Chocolate Filling

¾ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
Instructions

Prep

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners

Dry ingredients

Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

Make the base batter

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

Add dry ingredients alternating with milk.

Create the marble
-
Divide batter in half.

Mix cocoa powder + hot water, then stir into one half.

Assemble

Add 1 Tbsp vanilla batter to each liner.

Add 1 Tbsp chocolate batter.

Drop 1–2 tsp chocolate chips in the center.

Top with a little more batter to cover.

Gently swirl with a toothpick (don’t overdo it).

Bake 18–22 minutes, until tops spring back.

Cool 5 minutes in pan, then transfer to rack.
