🦪 Cheese Stuffed Mussels
🛒 Ingredients:

1 kg fresh mussels

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup grated parmesan

2 tablespoons butter
-
3 cloves garlic (minced)

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

¼ teaspoon black pepper
-
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

¼ cup breadcrumbs

Lemon wedges (for serving)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Clean the Mussels

Rinse under cold water.

Scrub shells and remove beards.
-
Discard any open mussels that don’t close when tapped.
2️⃣ Steam the Mussels

Place in a large pot.
-
Cover and steam 5–7 minutes until they open.

Discard any that remain closed.

Remove one shell from each mussel and place the half-shell with meat on a baking tray.
3️⃣ Prepare Cheese Mixture

Melt butter in a pan.

Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Turn off heat and mix in mozzarella, parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, pepper, and chili flakes.
4️⃣ Stuff & Bake

Spoon cheese mixture over each mussel.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes, until cheese melts and turns golden.

Optional: Broil 1–2 minutes for a crispy top.
