Here’s a fun, easy dessert: Blueberry Pie Bombs 🫐🥧
Golden on the outside, gooey blueberry pie filling on the inside—perfect for parties or quick treats.
Blueberry Pie Bombs
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or crescent dough)
- 1 cup blueberry pie filling (or thick blueberry compote)
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: powdered sugar or vanilla glaze
Instructions
- Prep
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment. - Flatten dough
Separate biscuits and flatten each into a 3–4 inch circle. - Fill
Place 1 tablespoon blueberry pie filling in the center of each.
(Don’t overfill or they’ll leak.) - Seal
Fold dough around filling, pinch seams tightly, and roll into a ball. - Butter & coat
Dip each ball in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar. - Bake
Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown. - Finish
Cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze if desired.
Optional Vanilla Glaze
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla
Whisk and drizzle over warm pie bombs.
Tips & Variations
- Air Fryer: 350°F for 7–9 minutes
- Other fillings: cherry, apple, lemon curd, Nutella
- Extra crunch: roll in sugar after baking for a crisp coating
