⅓ cup brown sugar

2 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

Heat oven
Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment or lightly grease. -
Mix beef mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pineapple, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently—don’t overwork. -
Press into pan
Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan and press lightly. -
Make glaze
Whisk all glaze ingredients together. -
Glaze & bake
Spread half the glaze over the beef.
Bake uncovered for 25 minutes. -
Finish glazing
Remove from oven, spread remaining glaze on top.
Return to oven and bake 10–15 minutes more until cooked through. -
Rest & slice
Let rest 5–10 minutes. Slice into bars.
