Classic Air Fryer Scones (makes ~6)

Ingredients

2 cups self-raising flour
(or 2 cups all-purpose + 2½ tsp baking powder + pinch of salt) -
2 tbsp sugar

3 tbsp cold butter, cubed

~¾ cup milk (add gradually)

Optional: ½ tsp vanilla
How to do it

Mix dry stuff – flour + sugar in a bowl.

Rub in butter with fingertips until it looks like breadcrumbs.

Add milk a bit at a time until you get a soft, slightly sticky dough.

Turn out & pat (don’t knead hard!) to ~2–3 cm thick.

Cut scones with a round cutter or glass.

Air fry on baking paper:

180°C / 350°F for 10–12 minutes

Flip halfway if your air fryer browns unevenly.

Done when golden on top and sound hollow when tapped.
