Here’s a simple Air Fryer Pavlova recipe—crispy on the outside, soft and marshmallowy inside. It works great even without a full-size oven.
🍓 Air Fryer Pavlova
Ingredients
- 3 large egg whites (room temperature)
- ¾ cup superfine sugar (or regular sugar, added slowly)
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice or white vinegar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Toppings (after cooking)
- Whipped cream
- Fresh fruit (berries, kiwi, mango, etc.)
Instructions
- Beat egg whites with a mixer until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff, glossy peaks form and sugar is dissolved.
- Gently fold in cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- Line air fryer basket with parchment paper (cut to size).
- Spoon meringue onto parchment, shaping into a small nest with a slight dip in the center.
- Air fry at 250°F (120°C) for 25–30 minutes.
- Turn air fryer off and leave pavlova inside with the door slightly open for 30–45 minutes to cool slowly (prevents cracking).
- Top with whipped cream and fruit just before serving.
Tips
- Don’t open the air fryer while cooking
- Make individual mini pavlovas if space allows
- Humidity can affect results—cooling slowly helps
If you want, I can share a mini pavlova version, chocolate pavlova, or egg-free alternative next 😊
