This Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken is juicy, sticky, and ready fast.
🍗 Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken
Ingredients

1½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)

Salt & pepper

Cooking spray or a little oil
Teriyaki Sauce

⅓ cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos)

3 Tbsp brown sugar or honey
-
2 Tbsp mirin (or rice vinegar + extra sweetener)
-
1 Tbsp sesame oil
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (or ½ tsp ground)

1 Tbsp cornstarch + 2 Tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper.

Air fry chicken for 10 minutes, flip, then cook another 8–10 minutes until internal temp hits 165°F.

While chicken cooks, simmer all sauce ingredients (except cornstarch slurry) for 3–4 minutes.

Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thick and glossy.

Brush or toss chicken with sauce and return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes to caramelize.
Finish & Serve

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions

Serve over rice, cauliflower rice, or noodles
