🧀 Cheesy Ground Beef Rice Casserole
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

1 cup uncooked white rice

2 cups beef broth (or water)

1 can (10–11 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup milk

1½–2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Brown beef
Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until beef is browned. Drain excess grease. -
Mix
In a bowl, combine beef, uncooked rice, broth, soup, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. -
Bake covered
Pour into a greased 9×13-inch dish. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake 50–60 minutes, until rice is tender. -
Add cheese
Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake 10 minutes uncovered until melted. -
Rest & serve
Let sit 5 minutes before serving.
