2 Tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the custard (first)

Heat milk until just steaming (not boiling).

In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.

Slowly pour hot milk into egg mixture while whisking.

Return to saucepan and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly until thick.

Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and butter.

Cover with plastic wrap touching the surface and chill completely.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
