🌺🍋 Hibiscus and Lemon Drink
Makes about 4 cups
Ingredients

1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers

4 cups water

Juice of 1–2 lemons (to taste)

2–4 tbsp honey, sugar, or preferred sweetener (optional)

Optional add-ins: fresh mint, ginger slices, cinnamon stick
Instructions

Boil the water
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. -
Steep the hibiscus
Add dried hibiscus flowers, turn off heat, cover, and steep for 10–15 minutes (longer = deeper color and tartness). -
Strain
Strain out the flowers and discard. -
Add lemon & sweeten
Stir in fresh lemon juice and sweetener while warm so it dissolves easily. -
Cool & serve
Serve hot or chill and pour over ice.
