Here’s a classic, easy chocolate chip cookie recipe 🍪

Ingredients

1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream butter and sugars together until smooth.

Mix in egg and vanilla until combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Scoop dough (about 1–1½ tbsp each) onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
