Sliced Tomato with Salt & Pepper
Ingredients

Ripe fresh tomatoes (vine-ripened or garden tomatoes are best)

Salt (sea salt or kosher)

Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Wash tomatoes and slice into ¼–½ inch slices.

Arrange slices on a plate in a single layer.

Sprinkle lightly with salt.

Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Let sit 2–3 minutes to bring out the juices, then serve.
