Here’s a crispy Air Fryer Bubble & Squeak 🥔🥬
Perfect for using up leftover potatoes and veggies.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold mashed or chopped cooked potatoes
- 1 cup cooked cabbage (or sprouts/kale), finely chopped
- 1–2 tbsp oil
- Salt & pepper
- Optional: onion, spring onion, or a little grated cheese
Instructions
- Mix
- In a bowl, combine potatoes, cabbage, oil, salt, pepper, and any extras.
- Shape
- Form into small patties or spread as a thick layer in an air-fryer-safe pan.
- Air fry
- Set air fryer to 190°C / 375°F.
- Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Finish
- Add extra seasoning and serve hot.
Tips
- Cold leftovers crisp better than warm ones.
- Don’t overcrowd—air needs to circulate.
- For extra crunch, spray lightly with oil before the final few minutes.
If you want, I can share a single-serve version, cheesy twist, or breakfast-style topping ideas (egg-free if needed).
