How many holes does this t-shirt have? Only one in seven people gets the answer right.

This is a classic trick puzzle. The answer depends on how carefully you count the holes in the T-shirt. 👕

Typical T-Shirt Holes

A normal T-shirt has 8 holes:

1. Neck hole

2. Left sleeve hole

3. Right sleeve hole

4. Bottom hole

5. Left armhole (inside where sleeve attaches)

6. Right armhole

7. Front body opening through the shirt

8. Back body opening through the shirt

But in many viral puzzles, the shirt in the picture also has extra torn holes, and each tear actually counts as two holes (front and back).

Example Puzzle Logic

If the shirt has 2 visible tears, you count them as:

• 2 holes in the front

• 2 holes in the back

So the total would be:

• 4 standard openings

• +4 from the tears
  = 8 holes
