🥓🍳 Air Fryer Bacon & Egg on Toast
🛒 Ingredients (1 serving)
-
2 slices bacon
-
1 slice thick bread (Texas toast or sourdough works great)
-
1 large egg
-
Salt & black pepper
-
Optional: shredded cheese, avocado, hot sauce
🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Bacon
-
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
-
Lay bacon in the basket (don’t overlap).
-
Cook 6–9 minutes, depending on thickness and desired crispiness.
-
Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Toast & Egg
-
Lightly press the center of the bread slice with the back of a spoon to create a shallow well.
-
Place bread in the air fryer basket.
-
Crack the egg into the center (carefully so it doesn’t overflow).
-
Season with salt and pepper.
3️⃣ Air Fry
-
Cook at 330–340°F (165–170°C) for 5–8 minutes, depending on how runny you like your yolk.
-
5–6 min → runny
-
7–8 min → soft set
-
9 min → firm
-
4️⃣ Assemble
-
Add crispy bacon on top or serve alongside.
-
Sprinkle cheese on top during the last minute if desired.
💡 Tips
-
Use thicker bread to prevent egg from spilling.
-
If your air fryer runs hot, check early.
-
Line the basket with parchment made for air fryers for easier cleanup.
