🥔 Air Fryer Baked Potato
Crispy skin on the outside, fluffy and tender inside — made faster than a traditional oven.
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–4)
- 2–4 russet potatoes (medium to large)
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½–1 teaspoon salt
- Optional: black pepper, garlic powder
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Potatoes
- Scrub clean and pat completely dry.
- Pierce each potato 4–5 times with a fork (prevents bursting).
2️⃣ Season
- Rub with olive oil.
- Sprinkle evenly with salt (this helps crisp the skin).
3️⃣ Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place potatoes in basket (do not overcrowd).
- Cook 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway.
⏱️ Cooking time depends on size — they’re done when a fork slides in easily.
4️⃣ Finish & Fluff
- Slice open carefully (steam is hot!).
- Fluff inside with a fork and add butter or toppings.
🌟 Classic Toppings
- Butter & sour cream
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Bacon bits
- Chives or green onions
💡 Extra Tips
- For extra crispy skin, cook 5 additional minutes at the end.
- Want softer skin? Wrap loosely in foil before air frying.
- Sweet potatoes work too (cook 30–40 minutes).
Perfect as a side dish or loaded for a full meal.
